Summary

In this gripping, romantic sequel to These Witches Don't Burn, Hannah must work alongside her new girlfriend to take down the Hunters desperate to steal her magic。

Hannah Walsh just wants to finish high school。

It's her senior year, so she should be focusing on classes, hanging out with her best friend, and flirting with her new girlfriend, Morgan。 But it turns out surviving a murderous Witch Hunter doesn't exactly qualify as a summer vacation, and now the rest of the Hunters seem more intent on destroying her magic than ever。

Of course, Hannah knows a thing or two about juggling romance and recon missions, so when she learns the Hunters have armed themselves with a serum capable of taking out entire covens at once, she doesn't think twice about helping。 With Witches across the country losing the most important thing they have--their power--Hannah could be their best shot at finally defeating the Hunters。 After all, she's one of the only Witches to escape a Hunter with her magic intact。

Or so everyone believes。 Because as good as she is at faking it, doing even the smallest bit of magic leaves her in agony。 The only person who can bring her comfort, who can make her power flourish, is Morgan。 But Morgan's magic is on the line, too, and if Hannah can't figure out how to save her--and the rest of the Witches--she'll lose everything she's ever known。 As the Hunters get dangerously close to their final target, will all the witches in Salem be enough to stop an enemy determined to destroy magic for good?

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 W pierwszym tomie cały czas mamy dopowiadane ,,Hej, Hannah jest czarownicą” a tutaj nie ma wyolbrzymiania mocy tylko te moce schodzą na drugi plan。 Najważniejsze są polowania na łowców。 Nie wiem czy to jest spoiler ✨😭

gay witches part 2- once again very enjoyable:)

I liked the first one better。 There was a lot of running around, action, and multiple settings。 Which, for some readers may improve the series but I didn't really like it as much as the first book。 The twist towards the end was also disappointing as was the abrupt feeling ending。 The slower more relational parts of the book were my favorite。 I liked the first one better。 There was a lot of running around, action, and multiple settings。 Which, for some readers may improve the series but I didn't really like it as much as the first book。 The twist towards the end was also disappointing as was the abrupt feeling ending。 The slower more relational parts of the book were my favorite。 。。。more

In many ways I actually found the second book to be better than the first。 The first book had a whole mystery installment going on, but in the second one, it seemed like the danger was right around the corner the entire time and they were more focused on stopping it。 *more coming when I have more time*

That was the longest reading slump that I’ve ever experienced in my life! It took me three weeks to finish this book。 THREE WEEKS!!! That makes it seem like it wasn’t a very good book, but I genuinely enjoyed it and believe that the rating of four out of five stars is reasonable and well earned。 I think that I may be a little in love with this series。

I love this book so much!!!This review isn't going to be about what happened as much as my opinions and how I feel about the story。The characters are amazing, and I like how they feel and express emotions。 There is so much LGBTQ+ representation and it is amazing。 Some parts are very heartbreaking, some are bittersweet。 The story went in directions I never thought it would, and I love Isabel Sterling even more for that。 I love this book so much!!!This review isn't going to be about what happened as much as my opinions and how I feel about the story。The characters are amazing, and I like how they feel and express emotions。 There is so much LGBTQ+ representation and it is amazing。 Some parts are very heartbreaking, some are bittersweet。 The story went in directions I never thought it would, and I love Isabel Sterling even more for that。 。。。more

My rating: 4。5/5。 I loved how this book wrapped up the story。 I really loved this duology。 The story was fun to read, the characters were all great, and the plot never felt predictable。

I'm rounding up 4。5 stars。 I absolutely LOVED the sequel to these witches dont burn。 The LGBTQ+ representation was great and the romances and other relationships were so cute but it still accurately displayed trauma。 I liked it more than the first book in the duology。 My only issue was that the entire book was such a downer。 Hannah is just having a horrible time throughout the entire book which made it hard to read at times。 I'm rounding up 4。5 stars。 I absolutely LOVED the sequel to these witches dont burn。 The LGBTQ+ representation was great and the romances and other relationships were so cute but it still accurately displayed trauma。 I liked it more than the first book in the duology。 My only issue was that the entire book was such a downer。 Hannah is just having a horrible time throughout the entire book which made it hard to read at times。 。。。more

I loved this book!! It’s a cute f/f romance with witches- what more could I want? I love the characters in this story so much and I loved how much Morgan we got in this book!! Although I could kind of see the twist coming from a bit out I still really loved the “villain” of the story and the trope they used。 I wish we had further explored how Hannah was able to get her powers back but overall I am obsessed with these characters and hope we get to see more of this world

I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one。 I know the Hunters are supposed to be the villains, but I hated them just a bit too much to really enjoy the story? Also, it seem like the climax was a bit disjointed and scattered。 I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one。 I know the Hunters are supposed to be the villains, but I hated them just a bit too much to really enjoy the story? Yes。 Just yes。 Action all the way through, well balanced and well written。 The dynamics and conversations between characters was charming and realistic。 One complaint is that Hannah fell asleep without realizing about seven too many times, but I’m just gonna overlook that

This sequel answers a lot of questions from These Witches Don't Burn。 There is more magic, more consequences, and a lot of action。 Despite the excitement of magic and witches, this book also takes the time to delve deeper into the effect of what took place in the previous book on the characters, which really came across。 Another delight is watching Hannah and Morgan's relationship really begin to bloom。 Very good read。 This sequel answers a lot of questions from These Witches Don't Burn。 There is more magic, more consequences, and a lot of action。 Despite the excitement of magic and witches, this book also takes the time to delve deeper into the effect of what took place in the previous book on the characters, which really came across。 Another delight is watching Hannah and Morgan's relationship really begin to bloom。 Very good read。 。。。more

A solid sequel。 I liked how Hannah's PTSD from the events of the previous book wasn't just brushed over, and also really enjoyed seeing her relationships develop。 And I absolutely adore her friendship with Gemma。 A solid sequel。 I liked how Hannah's PTSD from the events of the previous book wasn't just brushed over, and also really enjoyed seeing her relationships develop。 And I absolutely adore her friendship with Gemma。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 From about the second chapter until the last fifty pages, The Coven Won't Break is nonstop action and tension。 There's very little time to breath or process。 It's an attempt to keep this novel a nail biter all the way to the end, but without those quiet moments the action becomes boring。http://pussreboots。com/blog/2021/comm。。。 From about the second chapter until the last fifty pages, The Coven Won't Break is nonstop action and tension。 There's very little time to breath or process。 It's an attempt to keep this novel a nail biter all the way to the end, but without those quiet moments the action becomes boring。http://pussreboots。com/blog/2021/comm。。。 。。。more

Good book but not as good as the first。 Feels transitional so a 3rd book would definitely make this more impactful than it stands alone

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This book was so good。 I wish for many many more books in this series and I hope it becomes movies someday bc I would love if a wlw sci fi series (especially one as great as this one) got popular。 Also I really appreciated the author not killing off Morgan。 I was a little scared for a second, and I’m glad this novel did not continue the bury your gays trope (or in this case bury your bis lol)

This book had really good pacing and left me with that 'just one more chapter' feeling quite often。 I loved that we really got to experience witches from all 3 clans and saw them interacting with each other and learning how their magic is complimentary。 That they were actually doing themselves a disservice all this time by keeping the clans so segregated from each other。 Having way less Veronica and much more Gemma and Morgan definitely worked in this book。 They were much better characters and t This book had really good pacing and left me with that 'just one more chapter' feeling quite often。 I loved that we really got to experience witches from all 3 clans and saw them interacting with each other and learning how their magic is complimentary。 That they were actually doing themselves a disservice all this time by keeping the clans so segregated from each other。 Having way less Veronica and much more Gemma and Morgan definitely worked in this book。 They were much better characters and the two combined with Hannah really felt like a solid team。 Overall I really enjoyed this group and these books。 。。。more
